When you talk about holiday lighting around here, most Kansas Citians think of the stunning annual display at the Country Club Plaza. This holiday lighting tradition began in 1925 when one store owner placed a single strand of 16-lights over the entrance to his shop during the holidays. Today, over 280,000 lights are installed ever year right after Labor Day. The night before the big reveal, all the lights are tested to make sure they will illuminate at once. On Thanksgiving night, with eager people filling the streets, the official Plaza lighting ceremony kicks off the holiday season. It is an amazing feeling to see the excitement of the crowd and the beauty of the lights night after night. At the end of the holiday season, every strand is removed, carefully checked, neatly wrapped and stored until the next September when it is done all over again.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a crew come to your home or business to install your holiday decorations? Here at Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Kansas City, we can do just that. We have a variety of holiday lighting decorations, from roofline lighting to wreaths and garland to yard displays, and we are ready to install them for you.
Our turn-key approach to holiday lighting is all wrapped up with a bow. We will come to your home or business and show you our catalog of holiday inspirations. After you have chosen the decorations you desire, we will custom design a holiday lighting plan just for you. Once the plan is just right, our team of professional installers will carefully set up and test all of your decorations to make sure they look and work perfectly throughout the holiday season. And, here’s the best part, just like the crews at The Plaza, our crew will come back after the holidays to remove your decorations and store them until next year.
We want you to be able to enjoy the holiday season by getting your home or business decorated for you. The only thing you need to do is give us a call. Our holiday lighting appointments book quickly.
